RMA Club Tournaments
RMA club tournaments were established to provide a way for club members to improve their fishing skills through competition. Club tournaments also provide a fun opportunity for club members to learn from each other.
- Tournaments can be walleye-only or multi-species, as decided by the membership.
- Cost is $10 per contestant.
- Tournament times, meeting places and teams are established at the club meeting before the tournament.
- Names of boaters and non-boaters are thrown into a hat and teams are drawn at the meeting before.
- Qualifying fish are awarded points based on their species and length, from a system RMA has developed for Utah waters.
- Winning teams and individuals are awarded trophies and plaques at the end of the season.

Walleye Team Tournaments and Circuits
These tournaments provide a higher level of competition for Utah walleye anglers and generally feature more contestants than RMA club tournaments. Several have fielded over 100 teams. They also charge a higher entry fee and winners receive checks. RMA may have a sponsorship role in a couple, but none are conducted by RMA. This is provided for information only and is not necessarily an RMA endorsement of these events.
IMPORTANT NOTE: Utah law requires that all anglers in Utah tournaments have in possession an Aquatic Nuisance Certificate available online from the 100th Meridian Initiative. Other states may have different requirements.
