ADOPT-A-SHORELINE CLEANUP

🌿 Adopt-A-Shoreline: Mill Race Cleanup — DONE!

Yesterday, Rocky Mountain Anglers put our Adopt-A-Shoreline commitment into action at Mill Race on Utah Lake.

At the request of the Utah Lake Authority, RMA volunteers spent their Saturday getting into the shoreline, wetlands, and brush to remove trash and debris from an area that sees heavy use.

And we got our hands dirty. 💪

🗑️ A big haul of trash and debris removed
♻️ Tires, garbage, and other debris were pulled from the shoreline
🌿 Areas around the water were cleaned up
🤝 RMA members came together to give something back to the resource we all enjoy

A special thank-you to RMA Conservation Officer Weston Smith for leading the effort and organizing our volunteers.

We fish these waters. We enjoy these waters. We have a responsibility to help take care of them.

That's what Rocky Mountain Anglers is about.

We're more than a fishing club. We're anglers who care about our fisheries, our waterways, and the future of fishing in Utah.

Thank you to everyone who gave up part of their Saturday to make a difference. 🎣💚
