Real reports. Real anglers. Real Utah fishing.
RMA members aren't on Pineview every weekend, but when we're on the water, we share what we learn—what worked, what didn't, and what the fish were doing.
Reports are updated as information is submitted by RMA members.
🎣 LATEST PINEVIEW REPORTS
The latest reports from RMA members on the water.
Fall fishing at Pineview Reservoir is producing a mixed bag, with anglers finding smallmouth bass, largemouth bass, and crappie. Catfish are also being caught, while muskie fishing has produced several exciting hits, although no hookups were reported.
The most productive presentation has been a pink jig head paired with either a black or natural-clear soft plastic body. This setup has been effective for several species.
Anglers had to move down toward the dam to find deeper water and locate active fish. As fall conditions change, adjusting location and depth has been important.

The fall bite at Pineview is offering plenty of variety. Cover water, adjust your depth, and be willing to move deeper if the fish aren't cooperating.
A special thanks to Weston Smith, RMA Conservation Officer, for sharing this fishing report with the club and helping keep our members informed about what's happening on the water.
